Hundreds of leaders from the global and Greek shipping community are expected to gather in Athens for the 16th annual Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards, the world’s most popular shipping awards event. Last year more than 1,100 guests were there to witness the Awards programme unfold ‘live’ and to congratulate the winners in person. This year’s Awards dinner will be held on 6 December 2019.
We are now inviting entries for this year’s Awards. Out of a total of 18 Awards, 16 categories are open to public nominations.
Over the years, the Greek Shipping Awards have provided well-deserved recognition of many different types of achievement across the maritime industry.
We actively encourage individuals and organisations to propose themselves for Awards. Send us your story and the reasons why you or your company deserve recognition this year. Equally, we look to industry professionals to submit third-party nominations in support of others who merit recognition.
You can be sure that your nominations will receive a fair and expert hearing. Our prestigious judging panels have been key to ensuring the integrity and credibility of the Greek Shipping Awards since they were first introduced in 2004. The deadline for entries is Friday 18 October 2019.
